Embroider-YYY-Tea Partiesss!

Winter is coming! What better skill to have during those long, cold and dark winter days!

There will be 3 Embroider-YYY-Tea Partiesss! Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (October 28th, 29th, and 30th), 5-8pm, at 2084 creighton street.

Open to anyone and everyone who wants to learn about embroidery. Some supplies will be available but bring your hoops, needles and flosses if you already have them.

Also, a small food or money donation would be greatly appreciated.

Bonus** If anyone shows up for all three nights, they will get a FREE Embroidery "How to" zine! Written by artist in Residence: Carina Phillips!

Carina Phillips (Prince Edward Island), the woodland elf from Byrnes Road P.E.I, will be organizing embroidery workshops/ stitch-tea parties where she will share embroidery skills and conversations with the Robert's street community. She hopes to create site-specific patchwork embroidery that reflects her experiences there and to hold a closing art show.
