Two Call Outs! Resident Event!

Donate your stuff to the Roberts Street Yard Sale! Shed resident Katie Haegele is writing her zine, White Elephants, about yard saling and her love of all things old and unwanted. She sneaked in a little linguistics lesson on the word nostalgia and related words in other languages, too. To celebrate the launch of her fourth issue she’s having a yard sale! Please bring anything you can no longer use to the Roberts Street Social Centre at any time between now and Friday the 10th. We’ll have the sale on Saturday, September 11 from 10am — whenever, with a reading from the zine at around 1pm. Money from the sale will be donated to the Centre. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ NOSTALGIC FOR SOMETHING WE CAN’T REMEMBER: The poetry of secondhand things AKA a yard sale!
