2010 Halifax Independent Filmmakers Festival
MUSIC VIDEOS CALL FOR ENTRIES
April 12-17
To celebrate the 2010 Halifax Independent Filmmakers' Festival there will be a closing reception at the North Street Church on Saturday April 17th. The evening will feature a special film program of music videos that will showcase the wealth of film and music talent within the Atlantic Provinces. The music video is often the way in which many emerging filmmakers cut their teeth and over the last twenty years the Maritimes has produced an innovative array of such works. So if you have a music video that is just hot of the press or a seldom seen classic from the past please drop it in to us. There will be no screening fees for this event but the filmmakers who are selected for the program will each receive a complimentary pass for the entire HIFF festival as well as drink vouchers for the screening event. The music video screening will be curated by Siloën Daley & John Mathews.
