1. Cataloguing Party- Monday July 20, 12-3pm
We are working at finishing our computerized catalogue of the zine library and we need your help! Come for part of it or the whole time. If you’ve never catalogued before, don’t worry about it. Come hang out and sit around, drink some tea, read some zine, and catalogue some of them!

2. The 4th annual 24-Hour Zine Challenge!- July 24 5pm- July 25 5pm
Come celebrate the 4th anniversary of the Anchor Archive Zine Library with a full day of zine-making activities! The Roberts Street Social Centre houses the Anchor Archive Zine Library, Ink Storm Screenprinting Collective, and the People’s Photocopier. We’ll be open for a full 24 hours!
If you’re not ready to commit to making a whole zine, come by at any time to check out what is going on and contribute to a collaborative zine that will be made as well. Be sure to stop by at the end and see the zines that got made!

3. Skillshare Workshop - Salves and Baums with jean steinberg - Monday July 20, 7pm
No experience is necessary for any of the workshops, and all ages are welcome. Workshops are free, and all supplies are provided. Please pre-register by email: skillshare@robertsstreet.org.

4. Artist in residence- James Kirkpatrick and Jamie Quail (London, ON) – July 1-14
James and Jamie are artists who will create collaborative artists books and paper based sculptures using the Ink Storm Screenprinting Studio. They’ll show and sell their art multiples at Roberts Street and at the Zine Fair at Sappyfest in Sackville, NB, challenging exclusive and traditional art-world means of dissemination.

5. Stitch and Bitch
Every Tuesday 7-9pm
Do some crafting and chatting with friendly folks.

6. Tabling at Sappyfest
You are cordially invited to show/sell your stuff at the most lovely SappyFest small press/zine/and craft fair this Aug 1of 2009, 12 – 4 pm.
We are looking for crafters, zinesters, and small press type folk to make this weekend really nice. This event is presented in collaboration with Conundrum Press and the Anchor Archive Zine Library. Special guests include Andy Brown, James Kirkpatrick, Jamie Quail, Elisabeth Belliveau and a bunch of other readers.
Tables cost $15 per day (you can share). Deadline is July 17th. (please note that the cost for the table does not include a ticket to the music festival)

7. Radio Zine! Tuesdays 10:30pm-12am on CKDU 88.1FM

8. Crow's Nest space for rent
need space to hold meetings, events, small workshops, or show films? You can rent the Crow's Nest (upstairs) at the Roberts Street Social Centre. There's a digital projector and screen, sound system, chairs and tables.... Rates start at $5 for a quick meeting and help pay the rent! Email us to find out more.

10. Roberts Street FAN CLUB !
We are asking zine lovers, screenprinting enthusiasts, local or visiting artists, and popular education devotees to demonstrate their support financially. Community support is essential for the Roberts Street Social Centre to continue to grow and thrive. Contributions of any amount are greatly appreciated.
